Makeup Clutter - Storage

HEEEEELP! I need help to store the tons of makeup I have. Big girl problems right?

At this point I am totally out of room. Now that I make videos for my YouTube channel,

But anyways. Now that I have all these videos to plan out and buy new products for, I have all this makeup I would really need to store somewhere.

I currently store my stuff in these two Malm drawers from IKEA, that are in our bedroom (with the husband). But my filming station is in our attic room.

This means I am always lugging stuff up the stairs then down again, or ... leave the makeup I have filmed and since there is no storage upstairs (not sifficient anyway) I have everything lying around.


Also this is where I get ready every morning:

 This is a Lack side table in pink. I have an ottoman in fornt of it, and that's how I do my makeup at 6AM every morning.
 Naturally this is very uncomfortable and needs to change! I honestly don't need all of this makeup on my "vainity" every morning. I would only need the couple of items I need for my everyday work makeup, and the rest could go upstairs to the filming room.

I am currenly cleaning out the attic to save space for storage units for all the makeup.

Pretty sure I will raide IKEA for some shelves and chests of drawers. I am flirting with the idea of getting the Alex 9 drawers that practically every beauty YouTubers have.

OOH, I almost forgot.  I also have makeup in these little Moppe drawers.

 Also everywhere, on every surface possible.

These little baskets I got at Tesco and use them for video ideas.

The little flamingo thing is actually a trash can, just a smaller one for cosmetic wipes and stuff. The three circular boxes are also from IKEA and they contain all of my bracelets and odd pieces of jewellery.


Now get ready to see what is inside the makeup horror drawers.

The white Malm drawers look like this:

                      Miscellaneous items I couldn't fit anwhere else.

                      My I 💓 Makeup Hearts collection + Butter Bronzer & Blush.

                      This is my lippie drawer. It even stresses me out. Declutter coming soon.

                      Drugstore palettes drawer, mostly Revolution.

                      My chocolate palettes collection from I 💓 Revolution and pigments.

                      Nail polish collection... Also to be decluttered very soon...


Then the pink three drawer one. I "only" use two drawers for makeup, the top one is for my underwear. But here they are:

   These are my higher end palettes:Urban Decay, Too Faced, Jeffree Star, Juvia's Place, Anastacia...

This is a catastrophe. The rest of my drugstore palettes + liquid highlighters, a wig, cosmetic bag, tissues, waxing kit, hair ties...😱



And of course smaller items just go into the Moppe drawers:

                      Blush drawer.



Soooo. This is it.

I need to go through these items delutter everything, and find them a beautiful new storage home in my studio area.

I will keep you updated about the storage as soon as I buy it and possibly show you some before and after ones as well. These are definately some before one, if any.

Plus ... I really am not bragging with all of this makeup, plus it took me two years to have everything.
I just love organizing, decorating and makeup, so I want to merge all three and go from there.

FULL FACE OF OLD MAKEUP

Using all of my Eyeshadows Project Update

 Oh, hello! This is an update on my Using All My Eyeshadows project.
It is going nicely I have to say. Having my YouTube channel helps a lot though. Sometimes I change my makeup three times when I am filming vodeos, plus it gives me the opportunity to try different colorful looks, tutorials. Possibliy that is what I like most about being a YouTuber, to have an opportunity to do extra makeup looks. But anyways...

I have gone through (by that I mean I used all the colors once, or twice) four Revolution Flawless Palettes, from 1 to 4 obvoiusly.

  Actually 01 I have in my work drawer because it is great to have on hand when you need to touch up your makeup.

Today I used it all over my face, meaning I used it for all the powder work on my face, bronzer, blush and highlight. Here is a picture of it:

Yeah, that is me at work. Ecstatic....HEYYY!

I think it is a wearable look for the office. Well, these aren't the longest wearing colors, but for the price it is totally worth it.

Right now I want to finish up the Flawless series by Revolution. I only have the Matte 1 & 2 left.After that though, I have absolutely no idea which palette to choose next. I know I want to keep it drugstore, but I don't know which brand. Bourjois... maybe.  I will update you as soon as I figured it out.
